December 8 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014)
Hey there movie buffs! Join us for a special screening of The Grand Budapest Hotel at our cozy venue.
A teenage girl visits a writer’s monument in a cemetery, carrying a memoir by “The Author.” She reads about his 1968 visit to the Grand Budapest Hotel in war-torn Zubrowka. The once-luxurious hotel is now in decline, with few guests. The Author meets the elderly owner, Zero Moustafa, who over dinner recounts his story.
In 1932, young Zero worked as a lobby boy under Gustave, the devoted concierge known for his “exceptional service” to wealthy guests, including Madame D. After her mysterious death, Gustave learns she left him a valuable painting, angering her son Dmitri. Gustave and Zero secure the painting, but Gustave is later framed for Madame D’s murder.
So grab your popcorn, bring your friends or family, and immerse yourself in this charming French film. Seats are limited, so be sure to arrive early to secure your spot. Let’s make it a movie night to remember!
