Produced on a meagre $6 million dollars and grossing $30 million worldwide, it is Bakers Highest grossing film and has accumilated a number of awards and accolades. Winning the Palme d’Or at the end of 77th Cannes Film Festival to being named one of the top ten films of 2024 by the National Board of Review. As well as recieving 5 nominations at the 82nd Golden Globe awards including one for Best Motion Picture-Comedy or Musical and another for Best Actress in a Motion Picture-Comedy or Drama.
