Join us for the Great Debate and PublicTalk focused on this Resolution: “The United Nations is Still Relevant in Today’s World.” A team of eight top student debaters will square-off to debate the resolution and Canada’s UN Ambassador Bob Rae will respond with a short public talk, followed by a question and answer session with the audience. Doors open at 6:00 pm and attendees are asked to register in advance to be assured of a seat in the auditorium. Hosted by the Halifax Branch of the Canadian International Council, in coorperation with Halifax Public Libraries.
