LGBT+ TTRPG Night at the Board Room Game Cafe!

July 25 @ 6:00 pm - 11:30 pm

Join us for some Queer One-Shots in a variety of Role Playing Game systems! Be Gay. Roll Dice!

Join us this Halifax Pride for an evening of LGBTQ+ games and fun! We’ve recruited some amazing volunteer Game Master’s to run some Queer Role-Playing Game One-Shots! And no prior experience is required to play at their tables!

To participate in this event, review the options of the different games below and sign up for a seat at the table that interests you the most!

Admission is $10 each (+tax and Eventbrite fees), granting everyone access to both the event, and our collection of 600+ board games before and after the event (provided there is space)!

Please note, the cafe is All Ages for regular games, but these LGBT+ TTRPG games have a few age restrictions. Be sure to check the description of the game you’re signing up for to make sure it’s right for you. Any guests under 14 must be accompanied by a chaperone!

Join Ashe for Racoon Sky Pirates! All Ages!

“You Are a raccoon: A chittering, baggy-pants, ring-tailed burglar. A filthy bandit. A chaos gremlin. You and your friends have build an implausible floating ship in the junkyard and tonight you’ll fly it across town to the suburbs in search of better trash.

Together, you’ll navigate the treacherous neighborhoods, find a ripe, free-standing house with cable internet, steal as much as you can carry, and fend off the Neighborhood Watch – all while trying not to explode…”

“Cordes is a dusty desert town with a secret, bloody history. And the massacre has already begun. With the scent of blood in your nose and the squealing of pigs in your ears, will you uncover who set off the monster that is terrorizing the town? And what of the events 30 years ago that set this night in motion? Or will the pigs get you after all?”

Join Quinn for Dungeons and Dragons 5E! Ages 16+

Adventure Hook from the GM:

“A series of disturbances plagues the Dyn Singh Night Market, a maze of constantly changing outdoor stalls. The characters become entangled in a feud between the venerated Tyenmo and Xungoon families. To prevent the conflict from escalating, the party must earn the trust of the vendors and work together to discover who’s behind a string of vandalism and thefts.

An adventure for 3rd level characters. Sheets will be provided, all experience levels welcome. Please bring a pencil and eraser. Bring your own dice or borrow some.”

Join Greg for for Dungeons and Dragons 5E! Ages 18+

Adventure Hook from the GM:

“The City of Osperage has the continent of Harbourage’s largest queer establishment “Kitty’s House”. A 3 story bar and halfway house which is home to Drag and Burlesque performers and anyone who is queer and without a home. Unfortunately the deed to the beloved building has been stolen! Black mailers threaten to sell the building if they aren’t paid a ransom 10 000 gold pieces (way more gold than any one person ought to reasonably have) the party is tasked with hunting down the deed before the midnight deadline and save Harbourages biggest and most beloved queer space!

This is an adventure intended for a party of 6 level 5 characters please come ready to play with character sheets finished.”

Demotech has work: a high-risk raid on an Interface arcology in low orbit. You’ll get in and bring the place down. You were chosen because you work cheap, keep quiet, and die easy. Still, for you—mercenaries, living hand-to-mouth—this job represents an opportunity. A chance to get out.”

REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

Seating is limited so please let us know if you can no longer make it! If you have to cancel for any reason, please email events@boardroomgames. ca.

Tickets cancelled more than 48 hours in advance of the event are eligible for a full refund on ticket price. Tickets cancelled less than 48 hours are eligible for 50% refund. There will be no refunds for no shows.
