Music for the Girls

“A Live Concert in Support of Adsum Women and Children’s Center”

On December 5th, Gus’ Pub will come alive with Music for the Girls, a powerful live concert organized by NSCC Music Business students to raise funds for Adsum House, an important shelter for women and children in Halifax.

The event is being held in observance of the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women (December 6th). This day marks over 30 years since the Polytechnique Montréal massacre, where 14 women lost their lives in a heinous act of gender-based violence. The National Day of Remembrance encourages reflection on the devastating impact of such violence while inspiring collective action to create a safer, more equitable society.

Music for the Girls promises a night full of unique female voices, featuring performances by four extraordinary artists:
