The Ukrainian Theatre in Halifax is ready to entertain Haligonians with a new performance!

The Kaidash Family

The key figures in the play are: Kaidash, his wife Marusya and their two sons, Karp and Lavrin. We meet them at the turning point of their family’s existence when the children have grown up and are choosing their partners. In this play, laughter is heard through tears, and tears lead to laughter. Comic and dramatic at the same time, the play is full of charaters and plota inspired by the everyday life.

The Ukrainian Theatre in Halifax is a project of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress Nova Scotia Branch, with Lina Costyuk acting as a leader and producer of the theatre.
