Join Game Boss Dave on November 7 to learn how to play Wingspan and take flight into a world of bird-brained strategy!

Wingspan is a competitive, engine-building game. You play as bird enthusiasts—researchers, bird watchers, ornithologists, and collectors—seeking to discover and attract the best birds to your network of wildlife preserves. Each bird extends a chain of powerful combinations in one of your habitats (actions). These habitats focus on several key aspects of growth:

• Gain food tokens via custom dice in a birdfeeder dice tower
• Lay eggs using egg miniatures in a variety of colors
• Draw from hundreds of unique bird cards and play them

The winner is the player with the most points after 4 rounds.

Participants will be gathered in teams of two to five to play. Dave will lead a group lesson at the beginning of the night before everyone splits off into their own games. But not to worry; Dave will still be there to help with any questions!

Admission is $10 each (+tax and Eventbrite fees), granting everyone access to both the event, and our collection of 600+ board games before and after the event (provided there is space)!

Event is ALL AGES, but please note that any guests under 14 must be accompanied by a chaperone. Please be advised that the game is recommended for ages 10+!

REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

Seating is limited so please let us know if you can no longer make it! If you have to cancel for any reason, please email events@boardroomgames. ca.

Tickets cancelled more than 48 hours in advance of the event are eligible for a full refund on ticket price. Tickets cancelled less than 48 hours are eligible for 50% refund. There will be no refunds for no shows.
