Four Distinctive Voices
Henman, Beks, Campbell & Green brings together four distinctive voices from Atlantic Canada’s songwriting community for a special evening of songs and stories shared “in the round.”
Jim Henman, Jeannie Beks, Robert Campbell, and Cailin Green each bring decades of songwriting, performing, and recording experience to the stage. Taking turns in the classic songwriter-circle format, the four artists share original songs & a few ‘covers’ and the stories behind them. Come experience these four songwriters, their camaraderie, harmonies and spontaneous collaboration that happens naturally when great writers gather in one room.
What to Expect
Audiences can expect an intimate and engaging performance where humour, insight, and craft are as much a part of the evening as the music itself. With influences ranging from folk to pop, blues to country, the result is a rich and varied night of contemporary acoustic songwriting shaped by the voices and stories of Canada.
